Combustible Dust & High Surface Super Structure Cleaning

Combustible Dust has become a major concern for many manufacturing and production facilities.

Over the last 28 years there have been approximately 3,500 combustible dust explosions, 281 of these have been major incidents resulting in the deaths of more than 120 people. (http://www.osha.gov/dsg/combustibledust/)

Cleaning is typically performed by using Explosion Proof HEPA-filtered vacuums with attached brushes to provide surface cleaning of loose particulate debris. Wet wiping, or wiping with a chemically treated cloth, are also methods utilized to control the dust and debris from cross contaminating into other areas.

Our employees are trained in the latest safety methods to ensure complete compliance with OSHA and State regulations.

Combustible Dust: An Insidious Hazard
"A new safety video depicting how accumulations of combustible dust at industrial workplaces can provide the fuel for devastating explosions that kill and maim workers, shut down plants, and harm local economies." - U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board (USCSB)
